For four days, the beautiful town of Jardín, in the heart of the coffee-growing area of ​​southwestern Antioquia, hosts the Jardín Film Festival (Festival de Cine de Jardín).
 
The festival is divided into three main parts: on the one hand there is the central exhibition in which, around specific themes that are relevant to current national events, screenings of Colombian and international films are held.

Thus, for example, in recent editions of the festival, films such as Serpico (Sidney Lumet, 1973) have been screened around the theme of corruption or The Life of Adele (Abdellatif Kechiche, 2013) in an edition around queer cinema.

Other editions of the festival have had drug trafficking, post-conflict and the countryside as their axis.
On the other hand, Kaleidoscopio is being held, a short film competition aimed at celebrating and disseminating national talent, which rewards the best production in the fiction, documentary and experimental categories.

Finally, within the framework of the festival, conferences, discussions and workshops are held with directors, actors and journalists linked to the world of cinema.
 
The Jardín Film Festival (Festival de Cine de Jardín ) is an unmissable event for lovers of the seventh art, strengthening critical reflection on cinema and cultural exchange between intellectuals and fans from various countries, all in the magical setting of one of the most beautiful towns ogf the region.
